Client Education Manager

Product Overview:

The Fluency platform brings first-of-its-kind Robotic Process Automation for Advertising together with AI into a single hub that enables you to adapt to the rapid pace of industry change while delivering comprehensive digital ad programs at a virtually limitless scale.  Launch, manage, and optimize custom, local digital advertising campaigns across all major channels with groundbreaking efficiency and control. Your advertising strategies shouldn’t be limited by technical constraints, resource limitations, and tedious, time-consuming tasks.

Job Summary:

As a Customer Education Manager, you will play a pivotal role on the Learning Experience team, responsible for developing, creating, and delivering training programs that enable our clients to succeed in a rapidly evolving digital advertising industry. The ideal candidate is a fast-learner and self-starter, capable of turning ideas into actionable plans. Fluency’s Learning Experience oversees programs that serve both external and internal learners. However, this individual contributor role will focus on training and resource development targeted towards clients.

Role Duties:

  • Be a product expert
  • Support the development, creation, and operational activities of the Fluency Academy certificate program in our LMS (Docebo)
  • Deliver live training sessions and evaluations to new and existing clients with consistency, ensuring learners achieve both competence and confidence as users of the platform
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to thoroughly understand technical details, identify knowledge gaps, and keep documentation and training in sync with evolving platform features.
  • Understand the client experience, particularly the barriers to product adoption, and directly address these needs in training
  • Build and maintain job aids, instructional videos, knowledge base articles, and other client facing training resources
  • Prepare and train the Client Services team to deliver new release announcements to their clients
  • Adapt and present materials to various knowledge levels through exceptional written and verbal communication

What We Look For:  

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working in L&D or related field
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear and concise learning
  • Up to date with industry trends in learning and development
  • Understanding of visual design and user experience
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with digital advertising and advertising technology (nice to have)
  • High level of adaptability and accountability

Senior Product Manager

Job Summary:

The Senior Product Manager is a natural collaborator that has a deep understanding of technical product management and a strong business acumen. The Senior Product Manager is a future focused thought leader that can articulate the overall product strategy, and work with cross-functional teams to align on outcomes, metrics for success and prioritization. As the Senior Product Manager you will work closely with the executive team to innovate business opportunities by anticipating market trends then executing strategically and efficiently. The right person for this role can identify business value, solve complex problems, concisely articulate solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders and ultimately drive results.

Your Role:  

  • Coordinate with the Chief Product Officer and Vice President of Product on the vision, strategy and execution for ongoing product evolution
  • Perform market research to evaluate and prioritize product opportunities based on business objectives like lowering customer acquisition cost, scaling revenue growth, or accelerating revenue recognition
  • Institute and manage best practices for incorporating qualitative user feedback into product development
  • Institute and manage best practices for incorporating quantitative data analytics into product development
  • Drive and measure user adoption at a feature level to accelerate iterative product evolution
  • Support the development and delivery of weekly and monthly milestones in the quarterly product plan
  • Contribute to revenue modeling and appropriate pricing strategies for product offerings
  • Drive effective adoption of new products and features through established marketing materials, internal and external and rollout plans
  • Be an internal leader and partner for understanding, articulating, and solving complex business problems related to platforms, systems, and infrastructure
  • Identify issues and blockers that may delay the launch or impede the success of projects
  • Work directly with technical leaders across the organization as a partner, helping to problem solve and ensure alignment with overall product vision and strategy
  • Communicate progress and strategic evolution regularly to senior executives
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships across the product development organization, focusing on quality, reliability, and the appropriate level of scalability

What We Look For:

  • 10+ years of product management experience with a focus on platforms and  systems and five plus years in digital advertising products, e-commerce, or relevant industry
  • Strategy and analysis experience, MBA preferred
  • Proven track record of building and launching products at scale
  • Ability to articulate strategy and define roadmap
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, prioritize and evaluate opportunistic ideas with internal and external partners
  • Knowledge of data-driven development methodologies and current development strategies

Senior Software Engineer

Team Overview

The Fluency Engineering Team is detail-oriented and extraordinarily passionate about digital advertising. We blend the art and science of advertising into simple and scalable solutions to complex problems, and deliver leading edge software products to our customers.

The Fluency platform is built using a native AWS architecture.  We use RDS/MySQL, Java, Spring Boot, Elastic Beanstalk, JavaScript, Vue.js, S3 along with whatever else makes sense for the job at hand.

Job Summary

We're looking for our next talented back-end Senior Software Engineer to join us. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker that is highly motivated to execute and capable of wearing multiple hats every day. You will have strong leadership skills and must be comfortable self directing.  You will be required to self manage, including self learning, with the ability to write the best possible code while guiding others on best practices. As a Senior Software Engineer you will work closely with the entire engineering team and key stakeholders across the company to execute our strategic priorities. Your Role:

  • Plan and execute projects based on the product development pipeline and assignments
  • Triage incoming issues that couldn’t be resolved by our operations team
  • Contribute creatively to the product development pipeline    
  • Collaborate across the business and functional departments to develop and deploy solutions that address key business initiatives
  • Continuously improves software development productivity, quality and predictability
  • Ensure delivery of the highest quality service to our clients

What We Look For:  

  • 5+ yrs in development ideally and/or proven skills
  • Degree in a related field a plus but NOT required, we look for proven talent and skill
  • Experience establishing, leading, and inspiring world class development
  • Leadership capabilities to manage ideas, timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines
  • Enterprise software development experience
  • Knowledge of data-driven development methodologies
  • Love feedback and understand iterative development cycles
  • Passion and expertise working with engineering, product, and marketing teams
  • Knowledge of current development strategies and trends across web application and mobile application platforms
  • Experience with the advertising industry a plus
